GIGGS TO NET NEW DEAL?

IN-FORM winger Ryan Giggs could be rewarded with a massive new deal at Old Trafford - according to a report in the Sunday Mirror.

The deal, reported to be worth £9 million, will tie the Welsh wizard to be Manchester giants beyond his 30th birthday.

Giggs would earn in the region of £45,000-a-week, edging him closer to the club`s top earner - Roy Keane.

Sir Alex Ferguson will be desperate to keep Giggs at Old Trafford, especially with recent speculation linking midfielder David Beckham with a move abroad.

United`s deputy chief executive Peter Kenyan has hit-out at reports that Beckham could be set to leave, but a move to a Serie A club next season still looks a distinct possibility.

There is also speculation that United keeper Mark Bosnich could be set to leave the club with the Treble winners upping their interest in Wimbledon keeper Neil Sullivan.
