CROWD FLOCKS TO SEE TYSON

SUNDERLAND new boy Milton Nunez attracted a 25,787 crowd to the Stadium of Light for the reserve team friendly against Manchester United on Monday evening.

The kick-off was delayed, such was the extent of the interest in the Honduras hot-shot, as fans tried to get into the ground to see the deadline day signing make his debut for his new club.

Although Sunderland won 2-1, with goals from Dane Carsten Fredgaard and Danny Dichio, Nunez did not get onto the scoresheet. `Tyson` did manage to hit a post just before being substituted in the second half, and he wasted a golden opportunity to get off to a dream start, seconds into the game.

Midfielder Mark Wilson grabbed United`s goal but there could be little doubting who it was the large crowd came to watch - `Tyson`, the man expected to add more punch to Sunderland`s already prolific attack.
