Swede linked with Red Devils
Rasmus Elm's agent has refused to comment on speculation linking him with Manchester United.
Reports in Scandinavia have suggested that United are contemplating a January bid for the Swedish international.
The 23-year-old AZ Alkmaar midfielder was particularly impressive in the recent international with England, and he drew a number of plaudits.
Now reports have linked him with a move to Old Trafford.
"I cannot comment on individual clubs, as I know what will happen," his agent Patrick Mork told
Expressen.
"It is boring but I must be, I can say that many of the biggest clubs are following Rasmus.
"You should not be surprised at anything in terms of Rasmus, he is now the hottest player in Holland and obviously has a very high status in Europe."
United have been linked with a possible new midfield arrival in January following injuries to Tom Cleverley and Anderson, but Sir Alex Ferguson stressed on Friday that he was not looking at doing any deals.
