Manchester United's Jonny Evans has defended his side's style of football and believes they have been 'outstanding' this season.
The Red Devils defender was responding to critics who claim that the current squad is weaker than some of the successful sides that Sir Alex Ferguson has managed over the previous 20 years.
But they are set to clinch their 20th Premier League title this season as they sit five points above Manchester City with four games left to play.
While Roberto Mancini's side have scored more goals than their city-rivals this season, Evans believes his side are entertaining to watch.

He said: "The bar has been raised again. Chelsea did it a few years ago and whenever there is an out-and-out challenger the other teams have to be better.
"People keep saying it is a great achievement for this team, but if you look at our record, it speaks for itself.
"People say we have not been playing well but some of the football we have played at home has been outstanding.
"You can't always play well away from home but we have gone away and ground out results."
Evans is refusing to celebrate winning the title just yet, despite Mancini's reiteration that City stand no chance of clinching the championship.
The two teams play each other at the Etihad Stadium on April 30 in a game which is likely to be significant in the title race.
But Evans knows that his side have not won anything yet: "Most teams can't go through an entire season without dropping points.
"We knew that when we were behind and they are probably thinking the same.
"Although there are only four games left, their lead over us changed pretty quickly so it can happen the other way."
