Patrick Davison and Martin Tyler discussed the finer points of the Manchester derby after United's 4-2 win over City.
Louis van Gaal's side were dominant at Old Trafford on Sunday and took a four-point lead over fourth-place City in the Premier League thanks to goals from Ashley Young, Marouane Fellaini, Juan Mata and Chris Smalling.
And Tyler insists the Dutchman has finally seen the jigsaw pieces fit into place at United following a testing start.
He said: "There's no doubt [van Gaal] has guided Manchester United into the right shape.
"The system is working, the left-hand side has been irresistible really.
"Football is a bit like that, when it all falls into place you want it to last forever, and it's lasted six games now. It has been terrific for United."
