Vote: Cristiano Ronaldo lights up Old Trafford with free-kick vs Portsmouth, January 20, 2008
Cristiano Ronaldo was one of the Premier League's leading lights during his six seasons in Manchester.
His goal against Portsmouth left the Old Trafford crowd in disbelief. Lining up a free-kick from 30 yards, he lashed the ball with exceptional pace and power into the top corner during a 2-0 win in which he scored twice.
Vote: Robin van Persie free-kick settles the Manchester derby, December 9, 2012
Robin van Persie showed his ability to make match-winning contributions with this injury-time winner against Manchester City.
Pablo Zabaleta thought he had rescued a point for Manchester City, with four minutes of normal time remaining, before Van Persie's free-kick gave Sir Alex Ferguson's side a last-gasp 3-2 win.
Vote: Manchester United 8-2 Arsenal, August 20, 2011
Manchester United inflicted total humiliation on Arsenal and Arsene Wenger with a rampant display at Old Trafford.
Arsenal's failure to act in the transfer market left them travelling to Manchester with a depleted squad. The makeshift starting XI was duly punished.
Wayne Rooney was the driving force behind the win alongside Ashley Young as United outclassed their opponents in all departments.
Vote and watch: Scholes scores an inspired volley vs Bradford, March 25, 2000
This remains one of the greatest volleys ever scored in the Premier League. David Beckham delivered a perfect cross from the corner for Paul Scholes to dispatch in fine fashion.
Scholes hit a fierce right-footed volley from just outside the box into the bottom right-hand corner. If you want a moment to sum up the class and quality of the former England midfielder, here it is.
Vote: Manchester United comeback from three goals down vs Tottenham, 29 September 2001
If there was ever a match to define a game of two halves, this was it. Tottenham were in complete command, leading 3-0 at the break.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer was then introduced at the beginning of the second half and a complete turnaround followed. Andy Cole, Laurent Blanc, Ruud van Nistelrooy, Juan Sebastian Veron and David Beckham all found the net and United brushed Spurs aside with five goals in just 45 minutes.
