The FA is reviewing video footage and the referee’s report before deciding whether to charge Chelsea, Burnley or any of their staff, after both benches were involved in a touchline row following Monday night’s match at Stamford Bridge.
Both benches were involved in a series of flashpoints and Sky Sports News has been told that one occurred when the Chelsea bench believed they were being criticised for not being able to speak English.
Tempers flared after Chelsea head coach Maurizio Sarri was sent to the stands in added time by referee Kevin Friend.
During the game, players from both sides clashed on the pitch - with Chelsea players growing frustrated at perceived timewasting from Burnley.
The account of fourth official Roger East will be key to a row at full-time involving Antonio Rudiger, who tried to confront members of staff from Burnley.
Rudiger was not named in the Chelsea team or on the bench.
Sky Sports News understands Chelsea made a complaint to Friend at the end of the Monday Night Football game.
It is also understood that at this stage there are no plans to hold any internal investigation from Burnley as it is believed whatever occurred will be in the referee's report.
