LEBOUEF PLAYS DOWN LYON MOVE

EXCLUSIVE
CHELSEA defender Frank Leboeuf has dismissed any suggestions that he has agreed a move to Lyon, saying he has never talked to anyone about leaving Stamford Bridge.

Leboeuf and Chelsea teammates Marcel Desailly and Didier Deschamps have all been linked away from the West London outfit.

"In Lyon perhaps it is Barthez or someone they are interested in," said Leboeuf. "But it is certainly not me, I swear it on the lives of my children.

Despite this though the French defender did not rule out a move in the future, commenting: "If Lyon really are interested in me, then I am flattered. Will I return to France? Anything can happen in football."

The Chelsea trio have all been holidaying in France with TV star Nagui, and they stayed at his house in Aix-en-Provence, which is close to Marseille.

It has also been reported that French coach Roger Lemerre is becoming increasingly annoyed at the amount of transfer speculation regarding a number of his foreign stars, but Desailly said: "I suspect that it would give him pleasure if everything was sorted out before Euro 2000, but this would be really difficult."
