Deco: All players like Barcelona

Deco has given the broadest hint yet that he is favouring a move to Barcelona, despite rival interest from Chelsea and Bayern Munich.

The Portugal playmaker has been influential during the host nation's march to the semi-finals of Euro 2004 and is leaving Porto after helping the side win last season's UEFA Champions League.

Chelsea had been fancied to win the chase for his signature with former coach Jose Mourinho an obvious admirer, but comments from chief executive Peter Kenyon emphasising such a move would be detrimental to Joe Cole's development seemed to indicate that the West Londoners were losing the scrap for the Brazil-born star.

"My future will be determined after Euro 2004 because that is when I am going to meet with Jorge Mendes, my business representative," Deco told O Jogo.

"I know that there are solutions and there are clubs interested. I would be lying if I said I didn't know about anything.

"But I do not speak about that because it would show a lack of respect for my colleagues and Portugal to speak about my future at a time like this.

"There are many clubs interested. It depends on the decision of Porto. But, undoubtedly, it is a personal decision.

"Of the several clubs who are interested, I always said that Porto would have a say about my future, but I will obviously go to a place that pleases me, where I feel well and have the possibility to continue to progress.

"All players like Barcelona, but nothing is determined."
