Chelsea are interested in signing Rosenborg forward Yssouf Kone, according to the player's agent.
The Burkino Faso international has produced a number of impressive performances for Rosenborg in the UEFA Champions League this season.
He is contracted to the Norwegian side until the end of 2008 but has been linked with several clubs across Europe.
Blackburn, Anderlecht, Paris Saint Germain and Marseille have all reportedly been tracking his progress in recent months, while Kone's agent Alfred Obou claims Chelsea are also keen.
Obou admits that Chelsea have not yet lodged a bid for Kone, who has previously expressed a desire to play in the Premier League.
"We have not received a concrete offer from Chelsea, but there is interest," Obou said in The Independent.
