Carlo Ancelotti has dismissed as 'fantasy football' reports that Chelsea could swap striker Didier Drogba for Real Madrid playmaker Kaka.
Drogba's future at Stamford Bridge has come up for debate following the record signing of Fernando Torres and he was left out of the starting line-up for Chelsea's UEFA Champions League win over FC Copenhagen in midweek.
The Ivory Coast ace has been linked with a reunion with former Blues boss Jose Mourinho at Real and reports have claimed Kaka could be offered in exchange.
Kaka has regularly been mooted as a transfer target for the Premier League champions, but Ancelotti ruled out any swoop for the Brazilian.
"Will I ask (owner, Roman) Abramovich for Kaka, Pato or Pirlo?" Ancelotti told
La Repubblica. "We have already taken Ramires, Torres and David Luiz.
"The exchange of Kaka for Drogba is fantasy football."
In addition to bringing in Torres from Liverpool in last month's transfer window, Chelsea also invested heavily to sign defender David Luiz from Benfica, but Ancelotti does not feel the club have gone crazy in the market.
He added: "I don't think that Chelsea have spent a lot in the last year.
"We added five players from the youth system instead of five with expensive salaries."
