Chelsea linked with new bid
Bayer Leverkusen chief executive Wolfgang Holzhauser has stated that the club are not in talks to sell Andre Schurrle to Chelsea.
Holzhauser was speaking amid claims in both the German and English media suggesting that Chelsea had rekindled their interest in the 21-year-old.
The Blues made a bid for the Germany international striker earlier this summer, and Holzhauser stated they had turned down a bid in excess of €20million (£16million) - believed to have been the one from Chelsea.
Now a new bid is being suggested, but Holzhauser insists the situation remains the same.
"Andre Schurrle is an important player of our club," he told
Bild.
"There is no asking price in this case as there is no alternative solution. We have already said everything about this."
