Liverpool midfielder Alberto Aquilani has joined Serie A club Juventus on a season-long loan deal.
Liverpool revealed over the weekend that a deal had been agreed and the switch has now been completed.
Juve announced in a statement on Wednesday that the 26-year-old Italian has linked up with the Delle Alpi outfit on loan with the option to buy at the end of the season.
The statement read: "Juventus announce that an agreement has been reached with Liverpool for the loan of Alberto Aquilani with the option to buy the player at the end of the season for €16m (£13.1m)."
Aquilani, who arrived at Anfield from Roma 12 months ago for around £17million, has been plagued by fitness problems and barely featured under former Reds manager Rafa Benitez.
The Italy international, who was overlooked for his country's World Cup campaign in South Africa this summer, becomes the Turin club's seventh major signing this summer.

Juve, who put the midfielder through an exhaustive medical before confirming the loan deal, finished a dismal seventh in the league last season.
The Italian club kick off their new campaign at Bari on Sunday under new coach Luigi Del Neri and boasting several new additions, including Serbia winger Milos Krasic.
Aquilani is set to bolster the club's threadbare midfield after Christian Poulsen departed for Liverpool last week and Tiago rejoined Atletico Madrid on loan.
Media reports suggest Juve are also poised to buy Udinese striker Antonio Di Natale and sell forwards Diego to Wolfsburg and David Trezeguet to Spain's Hercules.
