Reds marksman relishing physical top-flight action in England
Liverpool striker Luis Suarez has revealed the pace of the Premier League is like nothing he has experienced before.
The Uruguay international played in Holland with Ajax before sealing a £22.8million move to Anfield in January.
Suarez has played in his homeland with Nacional while he also featured prominently in last summer's World Cup in South Africa.
However, the 24-year-old has never experienced anything as fast and furious as England's top flight.
Suarez is enjoying the space opposing defences offer him having adapted quickly to Premier League life.
Pace
"The pace of the Premier League is completely different to where I've played before," he told
The Redmen TV.
"It's unlike the Netherlands, it's unlike Uruguay and it's unlike playing in the World Cup.
"This is a big league and it's got its own way of doing things.
"You have to be strong and be able to play very physically. You have to be able to adapt to the way the game is played.
"In other leagues defences play very tight but here you get space. I'm enjoying it."
