Mellberg back in Swedish fold

ASTON VILLA defender Olof Mellberg has earned a recall to the Sweden squad for their forthcoming friendly against Tunisia.

Mellberg sat out his country's November friendly against Czech Republic but has been included in a 21-man party for the clash against the North Africans.

The imposing stopper is joined in the squad by Villa team-mate Marcus Allback while there are eight Premiership players in the set-up in total.

Promising midfielder Kim Kallstrom is one of only two Swedish-based players in the squad with AIK Stockholm's Andreas Andersson the other to be called up from the domestic league.
