Vieira wants out claim Tuttosport
The Turin-based newspaper is renowned for its transfer rumours, but they are claiming that the French midfielder has insisted he will quit Highbury unless he is handed a lucrative new contract.
Real Madrid failed with a concerted effort to lure the former Milan man to Spain, and it is likely Juve would find it equally difficult to prise Arsenal's skipper out of the North Londoners' grasp.
Indeed, Vieira has always declared his willingness to remain at his current club.
"If you don't give me a salary increase, sell me to Juve, otherwise I'll stay until the end of my deal in 2004 and I'll go to Turin under the conditions where you won't receive any money," Vieira is quoted in Tuttosport as telling his employers.
The report claims Juventus have guaranteed Vieira é¼4 million per season, and the Bianconeri have moved ahead of Real in the chase for the midfield marauder because Arsenal want to buy Alessio Tacchinardi.
The Juve defender is supposedly a target for both The Gunners and title rivals Manchester United, but it seems as though Tuttosport are bidding to start the summer transfer rumour mill rolling.
