Kolo Toure has dismissed suggestions that Arsenal have been given an easy Champions League draw.
Quarter-final tie is '50/50', says defender
Arsenal defender Kolo Toure is satisfied with the draw for the quarter-finals of the UEFA Champions League, but is not underestimating the threat of Villarreal.
If they are victorious in their last-eight clash with the Spanish side, the Gunners will set up an all-English semi-final with Manchester United, should the holders beat Porto.
But the Arsenal defender dismissed suggestions that his side have landed in the easier half of the draw, pointing out they will probably have to get past the defending champions and favourites to reach the final.
"I am quite happy with the draw," Toure told
skysports.com.
"When you see the other part of the draw, you will say we have the better draw (but) I will say no, because the holders are in our part, and I still believe they are the overall favourites.
Difficult
"Villarreal are a good team; any team with Robert Pires and (Marcos) Senna in is a good team. They also have a good striker in (Giuseppe) Rossi.
"It is 50-50, they are a top four team in Spain, so it will be difficult."
The 28-year-old Ivorian, who had a transfer request turned down in January, refused to confirm his future at Arsenal.
He revealed a departure was considered when struggling to cement a place in the first team, but says he is happy at Emirates Stadium after returning to the starting line-up.
Toure added: "In football you never know.
"I am fine here; I was not playing a lot around January, so you think about leaving when you're frustrated.
"But I am playing now and I love Arsenal Football Club."
