Nicklas Bendtner accepts he will have to remain patient at Arsenal after discussing his lack of football with manager Arsene Wenger.
Danish striker Bendtner raised doubts about his future at Emirates Stadium last week after complaining about his lack of playing time since recovering from a groin injury.
Bendtner has yet to start in the Premier League this season after missing the opening two months and has been restricted to five substitute appearances.
Gunners boss Wenger was quick to nip any talk of a transfer in the bud by stressing the 22-year-old still has an important role to play at the club.
And, following discussions with Wenger, Bendtner is now focusing on reclaiming his place in the first XI after only starting in the Carling Cup and UEFA Champions League this term.

"I know my place," Bendtner told

"I haven't been shouted at by manager, Arsene Wenger, but he has told me the same that he has told the media - that I need to be patient when I have been out for so long.
"This is something I totally can understand and I have been clear about this all the time, but I feel fit and want to play from the start.
"I need to do that in order to continue to evolve - that's just the way it is."
