Arsenal defender Johan Djourou hopes victory in the Carling Cup final on Sunday will be the start of great things.
The 24-year-old Switzerland international has enjoyed a run in the first-team of late as the Gunners remain in all four competitions this season.
Arsene Wenger's side take on Birmingham at the weekend and Djourou is eagerly anticipating the crunch clash at Wembley - hoping it will finally be an end to their six-year trophy drought.
"It is a great honour to play at Wembley as it has such a massive history," he said in the
Daily Mirror.

"It will be the first time for me to play there, so it will be a very big experience and something I am very proud to be involved in.
"Winning would mean a lot to us as a team.
"It would show how much we have learned, but it will be a difficult game and we will have to fight to win it.
"For me, it would be the icing on the cake - it was tough for me last year with injuries - and if we could win this it would be fantastic."
Djourou admits that the North Londoners' long wait for silverware is becoming a somewhat frustrating side issue.
He added: "A lot of people talk about how long it is since Arsenal have won a trophy, so to win our first one would remove some of that pressure.
"I hope it is the start of us winning a lot of trophies. We are still in competition for four."
