Waiting game for Viviano

Inter keeper to see how window unfolds

Emiliano Viviano is prepared to see how things play out at Inter Milan, but could be tempted into a move. The 25-year-old goalkeeper has arrived at Giuseppe Meazza this summer after seeing Inter buy-out Bologna's share of a co-ownership deal. It is, however, yet to be seen how he fits into the Nerazzurri's plans, with the club already well-stocked in the keeping department. Rumours have suggested that Inter would be prepared to cash in for the right price, with Roma and Arsenal understood to be waiting in the wings. Viviano will not be pushing for an imminent move away from the Serie A giants, but his agent admits something could happen as the summer transfer window unfolds. "Viviano has come in to a big club and he is happy to be part of it," Renzo Contratto told calciomaercato.it. "Roma and Arsenal's interest? We are at the beginning of July, the market has only just opened. Let's see what happens. "Emiliano has said that he trusts Inter, so we will have to wait."

Great team

Contratto also represents Inter defender Davide Santon, who has returned to the club following a loan spell at Cesena. There has been speculation that the Italy international could be on the move again this summer, but reports of a permanent switch have been played down. Contratto added: "He has returned to Inter to give 100 per cent. "He will start pre-season training with Inter and they will keep him. "The situation is the same as it is for Viviano. Davide is happy to be a part of a great team and we'll have to see what happens between now and August."
