Rotherham have made Arsenal goalkeeper Damian Martinez their latest signing, bringing him in on loan until the end of the season.

The 22-year-old Argentinian, who has played eight times for the Gunners, will spend the rest of the campaign at the AESSEAL New York Stadium and becomes boss Steve Evans' 31st signing since last summer.

Martinez is set to make his debut for the Millers in Saturday's clash with Sheffield Wednesday, who he spent seven months on loan with last season, coming in to replace number one Adam Collin, who has been error-prone in recent weeks.

Boss Steve Evans said: "Everyone at the football club is delighted to have signed a young man like Eme given the qualities he has and the very impressive CV he has attained in his very early years as a goalkeeper."

Martinez becomes the second signing of the day for Rotherham following the earlier arrival of Charlton's Lawrie Wilson.
