Everton treated Bradley Lowery to a mascot road trip as they took on Manchester City in the Premier League.
Five-year-old Bradley is a regular at his own club Sunderland's matches and has captured the hearts of thousands of football supporters as he battles neuroblastoma, a rare form of cancer.
He led Sunderland out for their Premier League match at home to Everton earlier this season, and the Merseyside club subsequently donated £200,000 to try to secure treatment abroad for his terminal illness.
Everton also invited him to be their mascot for Sunday's televised fixture, before which Bradley was carried out on to the pitch by striker Romelu Lukaku.
Bradley took the field wearing his Sunderland shirt under a Blues training top.
Lukaku went on to score the opening goal in his team's 4-0 victory, and after the final whistle a post on the Twitter feed @Bradleysfight made clear how much the youngster had enjoyed his day at Goodison Park.
It read: "Wow what an amazing time we have had, thankyou @Everton you really are the people's club #CancerHasNoColours."
