Midfielder set to stay at Heerenveen until the summer
Heerenveen are confident Premier League target Michael Bradley will stay at the club until the end of the season.
Blackburn Rovers and Everton have been watching the American midfielder, who has been impressing in the Eredivisie.
He scored twice against De Graafschap at the weekend to take his tally to 11 goals in 21 league appearances this term.
Bradley is under contract at Heerenveen for a further 18 months, but has rejected offers to extend his deal.
Never say never
That has prompted reports the Dutch club could cash in on the 20-year-old, although coach Gertjan Verbeek does not expect to lose the player before the transfer window closes.
"Never say never in football, but I count on Bradley staying here," Verbeek told the club's official website.
"He is ready though for the step to a top club. Bradley has a great mentality; he will always make it.
"Just as I was convinced that Klaas-Jan (Huntelaar) would make it at Ajax, I am almost certain that he will make it elsewhere."
