Everton linked with Spanish striker
Deportivo La Coruna striker Riki has admitted he would be interested in a move to the Premier League.
Riki has struggled to hold down a regular starting role since he arrived at Deportivo from Getafe in the summer of 2006.
The 27-year-old striker is not expected to figure in Miguel Angel Lotina's plans for the new season and he concedes he would be unhappy to be on the fringes again.
He has already informed Deportivo of his intentions and believes he could soon be on his way to England.
"I want to play and if it is not possible at Deportivo I am ready for the challenge in England," Riki told the Spanish press.
"The club knows my decision and I expect a quick resolution."
A number of Premier League sides have been linked with Riki since the transfer window opened and fresh reports suggest that Everton have now made an offer.
The bid is understood to be in the region of 3million euros (£2.4million), although Depor president Augusto Cesar Lendoiro would like closer to 4.7million euros (£3.7million).
