Goalkeeper John Ruddy has been signed by Norwich on a three-year contract from Everton. The 23-year-old has joined the Canaries for an undisclosed fee on a deal that will keep him at Carrow Road until 2013. Ruddy, who arrived at Goodison Park in 2005, has featured on loan with eight different clubs during his time with the Toffees. The shot-stopper, who spent the whole of last season in the Scottish Premier League with Motherwell, has also enjoyed spells at Walsall, Rushden, Chester, Stockport, Wrexham, Bristol City and Crewe. Ruddy made just one appearance for Everton as a substitute against Blackburn in February 2006.
