On-loan forward hopes for improvement on last Everton spell

Everton loanee Landon Donovan claims he has improved as a player since his first spell at the club. The USA international has rejoined the Premier League side during the MLS off-season, two years after initially moving to Goodison Park on a short-team deal. Donovan is expected to make his second debut for the Toffees against Bolton on Wednesday night and insists he has more to offer David Moyes this time around. "I'm more experienced and a better player than I was two years ago," he told the club's official website. "Before you get to the end of your career, mentally you get better and better. "I feel I have grown a lot over the last two years. I've had a World Cup and I feel these may be the best few years of my career."

Very fortunate

Everton are on a good run and are favourites for their home tie against rock-bottom Wanderers. Donovan is hoping to help the Merseyside outfit climb up the table and is hoping to be better than his 2010 cameo. "Nothing is ever going to be the same, I'm hoping it's better but I just want to come and enjoy the experience," he added. "There's not many players in the world that get the chance to play in the Premier League for a team like Everton. "I'm very fortunate to have that opportunity and I just want to make the most of it."
