Kal Naismith is back with Portsmouth following his loan spell at fellow Sky Bet League 2 side Hartlepool.

Pools boss Ronnie Moore wanted to extend the winger's stay at Victoria Park but Naismith is keen to force his way into the Pompey first team.

Moore told the Northern Echo: "We've kept Adam (Jackson) and Jake (Gray) and it's pleasing that the clubs allowed it to happen and they wanted to stay.

"With Naismith, he's gone back to Portsmouth to try and get back in their team - we would have loved him to stay, because he's a quality player and there's more to come from him.
