Asmir Begovic insists he has no regrets at having missed out on an FA Cup final with Portsmouth.
The Bosnia international left Pompey for Stoke during the January transfer window, completing a £3.25million move.
He chose to leave Fratton Park after growing frustrated at a lack of first-team opportunities, with David James the established number one of the South Coast.
The 22-year-old has encountered similar problems at Stoke, with Thomas Sorensen blocking his path, but claims he is more than happy at the Britannia Stadium.
Had he stayed with Pompey he could have been readying himself for a day out at Wembley, but the promising shot-stopper is refusing to dwell on what might have been.
"It is good to see Portsmouth in the final, but there are no regrets for me whatsoever," Begovic told

Ambition
"It was a move I could not turn down, because I was moving on to a lot better situation and a better club in many respects - a club on the up and with ambition.
"You could say I could now be playing in an FA Cup final, but you never know that at the time you make a decision.
"It is nice for the club and the fans, a great achievement."
Begovic is also willing to bide his time with the Potters, appreciating that Sorensen is currently Tony Pulis' first choice.
"I don't have any complaints because I knew the situation with Thomas Sorensen being at the club for a good couple of seasons," he said.
"He has done well and the team has done well, so I knew I would have to wait."
