Tottenham's Clinton N'Jie has undergone knee surgery after picking up an injury in his side's recent Europa League win over Monaco.
The Cameroon international has undergone an operation to the medial collateral ligament of his right knee.
N'Jie sustained the injury after a clash with Monaco midfielder Jeremy Toulalan. Spurs went on to win the game 4-1.
A club statement said: "Our medical staff will monitor Clinton's progress during his rehabilitation to determine when he will be ready to return to training."
N'Jie has made 13 appearances for Spurs this season, but is yet to start in the Premier League and is also yet to score.
Since signing from Lyon in the summer N'Jie has struggled with injury problems and was out for a month between October and November with a hamstring problem.
Spurs beat Southampton 2-0 on Saturday to climb into the top four.
