Tottenham have not held any discussions with Real Madrid regarding their valuation of Harry Kane, sources at the Premier League club have told Sky Sports News.

It is understood that senior figures at Spurs are bemused by a report from Spanish radio station Onda Cero claiming they quoted £200m for Kane during informal talks when the two clubs met in the Champions League last week.

The same report also claimed Real were willing to put former Tottenham star Gareth Bale, who left White Hart Lane for Madrid in a then world-record £86m deal in 2013, into the discussion.

But Sky Sports News has been told that no such discussions took place and Tottenham's stance over Kane remains that their star striker is not for sale at any price.

Kane produced another astute performance as Mauricio Pochettino's side grabbed a hard-fought 1-1 draw in their third Champions League group clash at the Bernabeu.

The England international, who has recently captained the side, has been in blistering form again this season, with 11 goals in 11 appearances for Spurs and four in four for the national team.

Ahead of the clash in Spain last Tuesday, Pochettino said he hoped Kane would follow Francesco Totti in being a one-club man, after revealing Kane had been emotional to see the Italian's last game for Roma earlier this year.
