Dortmund look to keep Rosicky

Borussia Dortmund insist Tottenham target Tomas Rosicky is not for sale.

Borussia Dortmund insist Tottenham target Tomas Rosicky is not for sale.

Rosicky has been strongly linked with a move away from the cash-strapped German side as they look to ease their financial problems.

Tottenham have made an approach for the Czech Republic schemer with the player suggesting he would be interested in a move to White Hart Lane.

Liverpool and Arsenal are both believed to be monitoring Rosicky's future at the Westfalen.

However, Dortmund general manager Hans-Joachim Watzke insists they do not want to sell their star midfielder.

"There are no plans for transfers in our current rebuilding process," Joachim Watzke told German television.

"And we certainly don't have plans to sell Rosicky.

"He's in great form at the moment, and he's an asset to us at the Westfalen Stadium."

Borussia could be tempted to change their stance in the summer if the club receive a suitable offer for him with a number of top clubs waiting in the wings.
