Tottenham striker Roman Pavlyuchenko insists any thoughts he had of leaving White Hart Lane are now over.
The Russia international was linked with Birmingham in the winter transfer window and Lokomotiv Moscow have shown interest, with both club's wanting to take advantage at a time when the player was extremely unsettled.
But since then Pavlyuchenko has forced his way in front of Peter Crouch, while Robbie Keane was loaned to Celtic, as Harry Redknapp's men fight for a place in the top four of the Premier League and next season's UEFA Champions League.
The 28-year-old is now happy with his situation in North London and he has ruled out the possibility of quitting Tottenham in the summer
Pavlyuchenko said in the Daily Mirror: "When the team wins and I am constantly playing the relations cannot be anything but good. Now I feel the manager's trust and do my best not to let him down.
"I have dropped all my previous ideas about leaving Spurs in the summer and I am concentrated on one thought only - what we need to do to finish fourth."
Serious battle
Pavlyuchenko started Saturday evening's impressive victory over title contenders Chelsea as success against derby rivals Arsenal was followed by another three points ahead of a trip to Manchester United.
The forward believes Chelsea paid the price for over-confidence at White Hart Lane as they slipped to a 2-1 defeat and John Terry was sent off.
Pavlyuchenko said in the
Daily Star: "During the whole game against Chelsea it looked like us who were the favourites for the title.
"I hadn't expected that we would be so much stronger than them. Many Chelsea players were too confident of victory.
"I noticed during the warm-up that they looked too relaxed, while we were set for a serious battle.
"It was a successful game for us, and had we converted just half of our chances we'd have won 6-1."
