Full-back enjoying chance to play first-team football at Loftus Road

Kyle Walker is hoping Tottenham Hotspur will agree to extend his loan spell at Queens Park Rangers. The full-back has made two appearances for QPR since joining on an initial month-long deal and has enjoyed his time at Loftus Road. The 20-year-old is keen to continue playing regular first-team football and aims to use his time at QPR as a springboard to breaking into the Spurs team. "I'd like to stay and hopefully that will happen," Walker told the Kilburn Times. "I'm enjoying it here and hope it continues.

Vital

"It's only a month at the moment and a case of waiting to see if it's extended. "Harry Redknapp said he wanted me to go and play some games. It's vital for my experience and after that I'll hopefully get into the team at Tottenham. "It's been a great move for me because I've gone straight into a winning team that plays good football." Walker has made three Premier League appearances for Spurs since joining in 2009 from Sheffield United and spent a large part of last season back on loan at Bramall Lane.
