Tottenham boss Harry Redknapp has played down speculation linking him with a move for unsettled Blackburn defender Chris Samba.
Samba is seeking to leave Blackburn in the wake of Sam Allardyce's sacking and has handed in a transfer request at Ewood Park.
Redknapp is an admirer of Samba, but he has ruled out a move for the player as he feels he has enough cover at the back.
"He is a good player who has done a great job," Redknapp said.
"He has been a fantastic signing for Blackburn from Germany. But I am okay, I am strong at centre half. So he is not a player I would be looking to do anything with."
