O'Hara also makes return from injury
Jonathan Woodgate has returned to action for Tottenham after a friendly appearance on Tuesday.
Woodgate was part of a Spurs XI that took on QPR at Spurs Lodge training ground, playing the full first half in an eventual 9-2 victory.
The game marked the first action for the defender since he limped off in November 2009 during his team's 9-1 victory over Wigan.
Woodgate's career has been plagued by injury and Tottenham are understandably keen to ease the former England international back into action.
Outstanding
The friendly encounter also saw midfielder Jamie O'Hara return from a back problem that has prevented him from playing so far this season.
"Woody was outstanding," technical co-ordinator Tim Sherwood told the club's
official site.
"He's not played for such a long time, but it was as if he'd never been away.
"Jamie also showed what he's all about and a lot of experienced players in the line-up applied themselves well."
