Leeds United have snapped up Tottenham midfielder Jake Livermore on loan for the rest of the season.

Spurs midfielder added to Grayson's squad for promotion push

Leeds United have snapped up Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Jake Livermore on loan for the rest of the season. Livermore has yet to make an impression on the Tottenham first-team squad, but enjoyed a loan spell at Ipswich Town earlier in the season. He made 12 appearances during his time at Ipswich and featured in Town's 2-1 home win over Leeds back in October. The 21-year-old has now linked up with Leeds and Simon Grayson hopes Livermore can play a role in the club's promotion push. Grayson said: "Jake is a hungry, young player who has gained good experience at this level with both Derby and Ipswich. "We're at an important stage of the season and he gives us increased competition for places. He's a good addition to our squad." Livermore has previously had loan spells at Peterborough and Derby, and could make his Leeds debut against Nottingham Forest on 2nd April.
