h3>Forward signs from Sunderland for a reported £2million fee Blackburn Rovers have confirmed they have completed the signing of El-Hadji Diouf from Sunderland for an undisclosed fee. Diouf leaves the Black Cats just six months after signing at the Stadium of Light from Bolton Wanderers last summer. The Senegal forward made 14 Premier League appearances during his time in the North East, although he failed to open his scoring account. Diouf, 28, will now reunite with manager Sam Allardyce at Ewood Park, after the duo enjoyed a successful three-year spell at Bolton. Allardyce said: "He is a talented player. He can be a little wayward, as everybody knows, but hopefully I'll be able to control him as much as I did when I was at Bolton." Diouf will not, however, be at Allardyce's disposal for Saturday's clash with Middlesbrough after he missed the 12pm registration deadline on Friday.
