Blackburn snap up midfield starlet
Blackburn Rovers have completed the signing of Amine Linganzi from French outfit St Etienne.
The Algerian-born midfielder arrives at Ewood Park as a free agent and has signed a three-and-a-half year contract.
The 20-year-old will now be tied to Rovers until at least the summer of 2013.
He is regarded as one for the future by Sam Allardyce, who hopes Linganzi will blossom during his time in England.
The youngster has spent his entire career to date with St Etienne, having graduated through the academy ranks at the Ligue 1 side.
He heads to the Premier League with limited first-team experience, but an imposing physique suggests he has all the attributes required to be a success with Rovers.
