Under-fire boss unaware of incident
Blackburn Rovers boss Steve Kean has launched an investigation into an alleged bust-up between backroom staff and fans during Wednesday's win over Newcastle.
Under-fire Kean has found himself the subject of a hate campaign from some Rovers fans eager to see the Scot axed from his job at Ewood Park.
New assistant head coach Paul Clement has been accused of directing a four-letter word towards fans behind the dug-out as they targeted Kean during the 4-3 win over Newcastle in the Carling Cup.
Kean denied any knowledge of the incident taking place but has promised to investigate the matter.
"I was not aware of that but I will certainly investigate it," insisted Kean.
"If anything occurred I will certainly investigate it and speak with our stadium safety officer."
