Blackburn boss Bowyer poised to give Henry start at Liverpool

Blackburn manager Gary Bowyer says he would have no qualms about selecting on-loan defender Doneil Henry to face Liverpool in the FA Cup quarter-final at Anfield on Sunday.
Canada international Henry joined Blackburn on a one-month loan from West Ham this week, subsquently playing the full match in Wednesday's 2-1 Championship victory at Sheffield Wednesday.
Bowyer is definitely without three defenders as Jason Lowe, Shane Duffy and Alex Baptiste are sidelined, while Grant Hanley is a major injury doubt.
Bowyer said: "Full credit to Doneil and his character. He's been brought in to play games for us and we have to thank West Ham for allowing him to come to us.
"Everybody at West Ham spoke very highly of him and his performance on Wednesday backed that up. We wouldn't have any problems playing him on Sunday against Liverpool."
Henry signed for West Ham in January after being recommended to manager Sam Allardyce by former Toronto FC boss Ryan Nelsen.
"Ryan has been a mentor," said Henry. "He really has a lot of faith in me and has really guided me along my journey."
And Henry is relishing the prospect of being involved in the last-eight tie against Liverpool.
"When we get the test on Sunday, I think we'll definitely be ready," he said. "There's a lot of quality players in here so I think if we can go there and do our job, as long as we stay together as a team, it's definitely possible to get a result.
"I'm not going to shy away from the opportunity. These are the games where you can really see how far you are from the top level."
