Striker keen to face Blues

Aston Villa striker Nathan Delfouneso is hoping to play some part in their FA Cup semi-final clash with Chelsea at Wembley. The 19-year-old, who is set to start the game on the bench, has scored twice in Villa's run to the last four of the FA Cup. Delfouneso believes playing in such a big game can only help his development after missing out on the Carling Cup final against Manchester United. "It would be a great achievement for me to be involved and to get on the pitch as well," said Delfouneso. "Even though I didn't get on for the Carling Cup final, it was still a great experience for me just to be involved with the squad, to be on the bench and part of the warm-up. "To play some part this weekend against Chelsea would be something of a stepping stone for me in my career." Delfouneso, who appeared off the bench against Chelsea in last month's 7-1 hammering at Stamford Bridge, insists Villa are determined to put the record straight against the Blues this weekend. "That sort of result is something you really want to try and forget about - although you never forget it really and you are always going to hear about it," added Delfouneso. "It just might give us a bit more incentive to go out there on Saturday and put things right. "But on Saturday we will go out with a clean slate, to play the game, to go for it, and to try and reach a second final of the season."
