Aston Villa midfielder Marc Albrighton insists the club will start to win games and pull away from the Premier League drop zone.
Villa were hovering just two points above the relegation zone before securing a vital derby victory over West Brom last time out.
Their second win in 11 league matches has lifted Gerard Houllier's side four points clear from third-from-bottom Wigan.
While acknowledging Villa cannot take it easy, 21-year-old Albrighton, who broke into the first team this season, is confident the side's fortunes will soon change for the better.
Bad results
He told
Sky Sports News: "It's been enjoyable for me personally to get my chance and play well. I've enjoyed every minute of every game I have played.
"On the other hand, we've picked up a couple of bad results, so it's not been great that way, but we have got character and spirit and will fight all the way to the end."
Albrighton denied the pressure of Villa's proximity to the danger zone was affecting performances, saying: "It's not so much pressure, the lads aren't used to being in this situation but we will bounce back from it and start winning games.
"We have had a lot of things go against us. We don't think we aren't playing well, but all we can do is work hard in training and hopefully it will start paying off in the games."
