Doncaster have signed Aston Villa defender Habib Beye on a three-month loan deal.
As revealed by skysports.com earlier on Monday, Doncaster had lined up a loan deal for the former Newcastle man and the Championship strugglers have now tied up the move.
The 34-year-old former Newcastle defender has endured a tough time since moving to Villa Park in 2009, making only nine league appearances under three managers for the Midlands club.
Beye's solitary action for Alex McLeish's side this term came as a substitute in the Carling Cup win over Hereford and his contract expires in the summer.
Following Saturday's 2-0 defeat to Yorkshire rivals Barnsley, Doncaster remain rooted to the foot of the Championship.
