Ian Culverhouse and Gary Karsa have followed Paul Lambert to Aston Villa to remain part of his backroom team.
The pair have assisted Lambert over the last six years while he was in charge at Wycombe, Colchester and Norwich.
And they have agreed to join Lambert at Villa Park after he chose to leave Norwich and become the new Villa boss last month.
Culverhouse will remain Lambert's assistant manager while Karsa has been appointed Villa's head of football operations.
"It's great for them to be here at the club and I'm delighted they have joined me," Lambert told the club's
official website.
Understanding
"They have been with me for the past six years, which is a long time, and we've built up an understanding and a trust. I trust them and they have been great for me.
"We have always bounced well off each other and we're all looking forward to the job at hand here at Villa."
Culverhouse, 47, made his name as a player with Norwich before beginning his coaching career at Brighton in 2000.
The former right-back then moved to Barnet, where he first worked alongside Karsa as youth-team manager, and later joined Leyton Orient.
He left for Wycombe in 2005 and began working with Lambert there in 2006, becoming his number two the following year.
After working with Culverhouse at Barnet, Karsa joined Charlton as head of academy recruitment before being reunited with Culverhouse at Orient, leaving for Wycombe in 2006.
