Aston Villa fixtures: Premier League 2015/16

Aston Villa make history on the opening day of the 2015/16 season by becoming the first team to play Bournemouth in the Premier League.

The Cherries won promotion to the top flight for the first time in their history last season. And Villa’s first home match of the season will be at home to Manchester United – so it’s an exciting start for Tim Sherwood’s men.

Villa’s final game of the campaign is a tough one - away at Arsenal, who beat them in the FA Cup final last month.

But supporters can have a nice lie-in on Boxing Day as Villa are at home to West Ham.

The key phase of Villa's season could be from December 19, when they have a run of nine matches on the trot when they will not face any of last season’s top nine.
