Magpies hero delighted with start to the season
Yohan Cabaye insists there is no luck involved as Newcastle United sit fourth in the Premier League table.
The Magpies have been the surprise package so far this season with manager Alan Pardew's side making an excellent unbeaten start.
Saturday's victory over Wigan, where the French midfielder scored the late winner, means the North East club have an impressive 19 points to their name after nine games.
Some believe Newcastle's fixtures have not been the hardest, however, Cabaye insists the Magpies are there to stay in the upper echelons.
"I scored a few goals like that for Lille and it feels very special to score my first goal in English football, especially because it was the winner," said Cabaye.
"We are getting used to looking at the table and seeing ourselves in fourth place and it feels good.
"Although we were lucky against Wigan, there is nothing lucky about having 19 points after nine games."
