Striking duo delighted with win

Demba Ba and Papiss Cisse hailed Newcastle United 2-0 win at Chelsea. The win came courtesy of two sublime goals from Cisse, as he took his tally to 13 goals in just 12 games. Speaking via his team-mate and striking colleague Ba, Cisse admitted he was delighted with his form. "I am very happy to have scored 13 so far and as every striker I just want to score goals," he said as Ba translated on Sky Sports News. Both Cisse's goal were wonderful strikes, but his second effort was a truly amazing effort and he admits he just hit the ball as he was feeling tired. "The second goal, I just saw the ball coming back from Shola and he just wanted to shoot as he had no power, so he just shot. "The goal came at the right moment as they were putting on a lot of pressure and it was a relief for the whole team." On Cisse's goals, Ba said: "Very special, the first was great the second was even better." Ba continued by revealing they were very happy with the three points. "It is very good, we just wanted to go back with the three points and be closer to the fourth place," he said. Ba now insists that Newcastle are ready to face title chasing Manchester City next time out. "We think we can make fourth and we are going to try to, and we will try and win [against City] not just for [Manchester] United but for us," he said.
