Newcastle midfielder Yohan Cabaye says he is aware of speculation linking him with a move to Manchester United but is focused on the Magpies.
The Frenchman has enjoyed an impressive debut season at St James Park after joining from boyhood club Lille last summer, helping the Toon to a fifth-placed Premier League finish.
His exploits on Tyneside have reportedly drawn admiring glances from Newcastle's top-flight rivals.
Rumours
Cabaye, who has four years remaining on his contract with the Magpies, is paying little attention to the rumoured interest and is looking forward to playing in the Europa League with the club next season.
"There are rumours. I am following it a little," he told
France Football. "But I have four years remaining on my contract with Newcastle.
"Today I don't want to know anything. That is what agents are for."
He added: "At Newcastle we will play in the Europa League.
"The atmosphere is already huge at St James Park with us in the Premier League and it seems stronger now we're in Europe."
Cabaye admits it has taken time for him to adapt to the demands of the Premier League this season.
"When I came to England, I had to start again from scratch," he added. "There, they hardly knew me. Some players did not even know I was a French champion (with Lille).
"So I questioned myself, getting to the heart of the matter as quickly as possible.
"At Newcastle, I had to go and get it. The fight has been permanent.
"Security would have been remaining at Lille but at that moment I didn't think about it. I went to Newcastle to have success."
Cabaye has been impressed by fellow Newcastle midfielder and compatriot Hatem Ben Arfa this season, comparing him to Chelsea's new star signing Eden Hazard.
Genius
"He has a big talent but physically and in front of goal he has worked hard," added Cabaye, who will represent France alongside Ben Arfa at Euro 2012.
"He greatly deserved to be called into the French team. His genius reminds me of Eden Hazard's. He is one of a group of rare players who are capable of making a difference with just one gesture."
