Manchester City captain Vincent Kompany could start against Crystal Palace this weekend after missing eight weeks

Vincent Kompany continues to train ahead of a possible Manchester City return this weekend, and the Sky Sports News HQ cameras were there on Wednesday to capture his latest session.

It is now eight weeks and counting since City's club captain injured his knee in a collision with team-mate Claudio Bravo at Crystal Palace after months of muscle problems.

But the centre-half's rehabilitation has gone well enough that he was named among the substitutes for Saturday's Premier League draw with Tottenham.

And the scene of his most recent injury could stage his comeback on Saturday as City head back to Selhurst Park in the fourth round of the FA Cup.
