Frenchman ready to quit England for former club
Skysports.com understands Ousmane Dabo is on his way to Italy to engage in transfer talks with former club Lazio.
The holding midfielder has found first-team opportunities hard to come by since Sven Goran Eriksson's arrival at Eastlands in the summer.
Dabo joined City from Lazio back in 2006 on a three-year deal but after a bright start to life in England has struggled for playing time of late.
The player remains well respected in Italy and a move back to Lazio could well reignite his career.
It is anticipated that a permanent switch could be agreed with City, should Dabo concur with the personal terms on offer at the capital club.
Frenchman Dabo has a strong understanding of Serie A football having previously plied his trade at Lazio, Atalanta, Vicenza, Parma and Internazionale.
